Well this is my 4th project bike and by far the best one yet. The bike is a 2002 Honda cbr-954rr, 954cc inline 4 cylinder.
This is my second 954 to build. I have been riding with a group for awhile and one of the other guys had the same bike as
I did, but in much nicer condition and with less miles. I kept bugging him to sell it to me as he has many other bikes
(Ducati 996, Yamaha, Honda, etc...). So after a few months and selling my beloved v8z, I finally got an opportunity to buy
it. I picked this one up with 10k miles on it and got to work.
It is still not done, future plans include a streetable turbo system (5psi), Scotts steering damper and a possible 4" swing
arm extension. I frequently push it to the limits in the corners and the straights, but mostly enjoy finding that perfect
line through the corners; handles like a 600 (and lighter than some) and has the pull of a liter bike. It’s also a smaller
thinner bike than the new liter bikes which is good for me considering I’m only 5' 6" tall on a good day. I’ve been to the
drag strip with it a few times and have plans in the future to bracket race it. It has been a great bike and a lot of fun...
