History
JSM (Jefferson State Motorsports) was founded by Steve (2_Liter_Turbo) and Ian (Lucky) in the spring of 2007; to try to bring automotive enthusiasts
together throughout the Jefferson State area (Northern California and Southern Oregon). With just a few friends to start out
with as members, JSM grew rather quickly in the first six months, gathering over 100 members! This was done by constant advertising on national
automotive forums, and local automotive events.
Mission
JSM's Mission is to bring together local automotive enthusiasts, so they can build a friendly localized car community. We also want JSM to be the single place
where local enthusiasts can learn about all of the various clubs and events the Jefferson State area has to offer. We strive to provide a
positive atmosphere for all who are interested in cars, trucks, or other modes of wheeled transportation. No matter what your taste is, we ask
all of our members to be as unbiased as possible. Constructive criticism is okay, but we do not want people being singled out because of what they drive.
Any members who do so, will be warned, then banned if need be. JSM will also hold random and seasonal events to help build our
community. These include BBQ's, meets, car shows and other events!
