Drift Evolution is a local Jefferson State drifting series. Originally the series started in Medford, OR, but has since been branched
out to Grants Pass and soon Klamath Falls! Drift Evolution brings drifting to the local scene and gives drivers a safe and fun
environment to push their cars to the limit!

What is Drifting?
Drifting is a sport that originated in the mountain roads of Japan. It is essentially initiating a slide before and during
a corner at a high speed. It takes a lot of car control and driving skill to pull off a smooth and deep angle drift. While
you can drift most cars, rear wheel drive (RWD) cars are primarily used for the sport as they are the easiest to control and
initiate the drift. Drift Evolotuion only allows RWD cars for this reason. They are much safer for the novice and even experienced
driver in a drifting situation. Drift events are judged, not timed like most motor sport events. Things like angle of attack, smoothness,
and tire smoke are looked at by the judges.

Currently, the main venues for the Drift Evolution series are at Jackson County EXPO, and the Josephine County Fairgrounds.
Drift Evolution is currently trying to bring an event to Klamath Falls at Kingsley Field. Below will be track layouts when they
are available at the start of each event.
